Leonardo Ulloa set to join Leicester
One of the more prolonged deals of the summer transfer window looks to be drawing to a close with the Albion accepting a club record fee of 7m for Leonardo Ulloa from Leicester City. That's 15 goals and nine points gone from last season.
Albion make a signing!!!!!!!! Aaron Hughes joins
Sit down, take a breath, put that cold flannel on your head - Brighton and Hove Albion have made a signing. 34 year old Northern Irish international defender Aaron Hughes joins on a one year contract after spending last season on loan at QPR. And he has massive eyebrows.
Albion Images - Lewes 0-5 Brighton
The Sami Hyypia era gets underway with a 5-0 win at Lewes. We'd have managed more than 25 photos of the action from the Dripping Pan if it weren't for the ridiculous "no beer outside the clubhouse" rule. Start pre-season at Burgess Hill again next year, please.
Spurs to ground share at The Amex?
Premier League football could come to The Amex in 2016-2017 - and it might not even need the Albion to be promoted with rumours abounding that Tottenham Hotspur want to play several home games there while their new Naming Rights Stadium is built on the site of White Hart Lane.
Brighton appoint Sammy Lee assistant manager
Sami Hyypia has made his first signing as Brighton and Hove Albion manager with the appointment of former Bolton Wanderers manager and Liverpool assistant Sammy Lee as his number two, with Nathan "Here hs is" Jones stepping down to the role of first team coach.
44 days to go...
With a little over six weeks to go until the 2014/15 nPower Championship season gets underway, we take a look at how Brighton's busy summer of business so far has left the side looking ahead of that opening day fixture against Sheffield Wednesday.
End of an Errea Part Five - 2011-2014
Against all the odds, we have actually completed the run down of every single kit Errea produced during their 15 years supplying the Albion. The fifth and final part focuses on the last three season of Amex football and two of the finest away and goalkeepers kits of the lot.
It's the day every football fan looks forward to - fixtures day! And what a treat the Football League computer has conjured up for the Albion, giving us a first home game of the season that might have to be moved due to Peppa Pig and evening away trips to Leeds, Huddersfield and Millwall.
2013/14 Season Review - Part One
A summer of turmoil and just two permanent signings meant that new manager Oscar Garcia had his hands slightly tied going into 2013/14. But he was in no doubt the play offs were once again the aim and the Spaniard set about achieving that in the first part of 2013/14.
End of an Errea Part Four - 2008-2011
End of an Errea part four takes a look at the final few kits of the Withdean era including the somewhat bizarre and questionable decision to have a home, away and third kit that were all blue. And not forgetting the glorious designs of that League One title season.
