Reasons we won’t go down

Ok, so after last nights magnificent performance, I’m feeling quite positive about the rest of this season. Here’s why:
1) Poyet is learning from his mistakes. For example, he has already dropped Seb Carole.
2) Elphick, Virgo, El-Abd - all defenders that are finally performing as we know they can.
3) Elliott Bennett. I’m quite happy for him [...]

Another Red Card…

Bit gutted not to pick up all 3 points yesterday to be honest, so not going to go into that just yet!
But I quite enjoyed this creation from “Goldstone Rapper” on NSC, highlighting our sendings off so far…

Goldstone Rapper is an editor of the excellent website http://www.seagulls.tv/ - for all retro Albion videos!

Poyet - Has He Lost the Plot?

Remember the day - February 15th 2010 may well be one that Seagulls’ fans look back on as the day when Gustavo Poyet condemned Brighton and Hove Albion to the basement division for the first time in a decade.
A sensationalised opening paragraph perhaps, but letting Liam Dickinson go on-loan to Peterborough United for the next three [...]

What’s good on Youtube? Well, anything with Gully’s Girls in it…

The Wearebrighton.com team were very impressed with the efforts of Andrea Fox from Juice FM at the Millwall game.
As a result of coming bottom of the leaderboard for November in the Juice 107.2 Breakfast Quizher forfeit was to perform with Gully’s Girls at Withdean.
Fortunately for us, this event was captured at Withdean on video camera, [...]

Withdean Maths

Right then, tomorrow we face League leaders Norwich City, in the second match at Withdean in a week. Oh Christ.
Just 4711 turned out to watch Tuesday’s bore draw against Huddersfield, the worst Withdean crowd in a couple of years. Now, there’s plenty of things that can be blamed for this. Football on Sky, two games [...]

Leyton Orient 1 Brighton & Hove Albion 1 - 06/02/10

Right, there’s no Crocs On Tour page for this one, so I’m actually going to be bothered to write a match report, as it was one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time.
However, if you really can’t be arsed to read on, there are two things you need to know:
1) Scott McGleish [...]

Forster Puts in Transfer Request

Another twist in quite a twisty season today has seen Nicky Forster put in a transfer request. There are many things that don’t really make sense about this whole episode - he won’t be able to move permanently as the transfer window slammed shut five days ago, he is out of contract anyway come the [...]

What’s good on YOUTUBE (3)

Right - bit of a mixed bag this week. First, this video needs to be included, as it features 80’s Albion star Hans Kraay.
Basically, we like this because I imagine Kraay ticked all “flair” boxes during his time at the club. God knows what they are actually talking about though, although it’s the Albion apparently. [...]

Transfer Window Deadline Day

Ok, so I probably should write something, as to avoid getting into the dangerous habit of googling turd’s that represent the Albion’s latest happenings.
Basically, Poyet said he was hopeful of at least one signing today. And he didn’t get one. The only news was Craig Davies extending his loan move to Port Vale, and Kevin [...]

Albion’s Home Form

That is all.
