Ok, so I probably should write something, as to avoid getting into the dangerous habit of googling turd’s that represent the Albion’s latest happenings.

Basically, Poyet said he was hopeful of at least one signing today. And he didn’t get one. The only news was Craig Davies extending his loan move to Port Vale, and Kevin McLeod being released and joining Wycombe.

Rather dull really. This wishful thinking mentioned during my previous blog about the transfer window turned out to be just that; wishful thinking. Although Holroyd did sign in the end. Joy.

All it means really is that the current squad have got to get us out of this mess. And with a tricky run of fixtures on paper, following Saturday’s huge game at Brisbane Road, they are really going to have to dig in if we’re going to stay up. The home form needs to improve, and the away form needs to be maintained. The fighting spirit shown in the last few games last season needs to come back.

Let’s hope it does.
