Albion 2 Millwall 2
Another late goal snatches a point for Albion. It wasn’t at all pretty, but credit where it’s due, we dug in and avoided defeat with yet another strike in the closing stages, this time from Kazenga LuaLua. Sam Vokes had previously equalised for Albion, after Millwall twice took the lead.
It was an uninspiring performance at a surprisingly quiet Amex, which can probably summed up quite well by the following words from Gus Poyet, who picked an experimental lineup that really didn’t work at all.
“I am sure nobody was expecting the team I picked, so if it didn’t work I suppose I have to be responsible.”
Still, onwards and upwards. Still unbeaten in 2012. Still NINE points above Palace. And a small matter of ANFIELD on Saturday.
