Brighton and Hove Albion captain Bruno has signed a new contract with the club which extends his current deal by one year until the summer of 2018.
Despite being nearly old enough to qualify for a bus pass, the right back has been bloody brilliant over the last two seasons which included him winning Player of the Year last year as the Albion fell desperately short of promotion to the Premier League.
He remains one of the longest serving players at the club having signed from Valencia in the summer of 2012 and was appointed club captain following the release of Gordon Greer at the end of last season.
Bruno has now played more than 150 games for the Albion and remains one of the most popular players we have for his work rate, his flair and his love of bombing forward from right back.
And none of that covers the fact he looks like he has his head on upside down which has meant he is a three time winner of the coveted WeAreBrighton.com Bald Player of the Season award. No doubt he will be the hot favourite to add at least two more crowns over the next two seasons.
