Stadium Solstice - Amex Stadium June 2010

England may have been eliminated from the World Cup 24 hours earlier with a woeful display against Germany, but our first visit to the Amex in three months was a reminder that football doesn't always have to be depressing.

The West Stand arch and roof structure is now in place while the North Stand is also nearing completion, meaning that the skeleton of the stadium is almost finished.

Work will soon switch to the inside of the stadium with just over a year until she will open her doors for the first time.
