WeAreBrighton.com Fantasy Championship 2011/12 - Third Quarter Update

The Championship season is in the final straight and, apart from Southampton who just keep going, nobody seems to actually want to be promoted to the Premier League with the teams in and around the play-offs constantly chucking away points.

The same can't be said of the WeAreBrighton.com Fantasy Championship, where after his early season domination Arthur Hill now finds himself down in 9th with Kazenga <3.

The new leaders are Goldstone Town, lead by Geoff Morley who has opened up a 30 point gap at the top following his rise from 6th at the halfway point. Ben Franklin and Athletic Cat FC have jumped 11 places to move into second, just three points ahead of zulus on tour managed by Matthew Mills. Tim Brann is up into the final Champions League spot with The B Team with just five points separating fourth down to eighth, meaning it is all to play for at the top

Having collected just 20 points in the second quarter of the season to move onto 108, it is probably fair to say that Deidre Barlow managed by Rob Lloyd are looking the favourites for the wooden spoon. Jake Caldecourt and ginger united are second bottom on 135 points while any number of teams could still face relegation with just eleven points separating James Tennyson's side Broadlands Barbarians in the final relegation spot Andy David and Southern Squealers six places above the dreaded dotted line

If you aren't involved with our Fantasy Championship League and would like to be then the details on how you can join are at the bottom of the page. Look out for our three quarter's update before the final places are anounced come the end of the season

If you are not yet registered, then here's what you need to do.

Step One : Sign up via http://fantasy.football-league.co.uk/

Step Two:
Choose your eleven players spending no more than 10 million, using either a 5-3-2 formation or a 4-4-2. You cannot pick more than three players from one team, so no just selecting the Seagulls starting XI!

Step Three: Choose your team name and select which side you support

Step Four : Select the "Private Leagues" link from the right of the page, then scroll down to "Join existing leagues" and enter 6043 into the League Pin box. Click "Find league" which will take you to the WeAreBrighton Private League, and then select "Join this League" from the box above the current league table, after which we will accept your application when it comes through
