WeAreBrighton.com Tipping Service - August 2013

As part of our Match Previews, the WeAreBrighton.com team stick a couple of tips per game in as to where they think there is money to be made on the outcome of the Albion game.

Never ones to shy away from putting our (limited) money where our mouths are, we've decided to stick 1 per bet on this season to see how much we end up losing by the end of the year.

Just like the Albion, August started badly but picked up so that by the end we'd made a pretty impressive 34% profit. This was largely down to getting the victory over Burnley spot on and the form of a certain Leonardo Ulloa who was a one man money making machine.

Game Bets Stake Returns Profit
Leeds 1-1 Brighton 11/2: A matter of minutes and a suspect handball away from the money. 1 0 -1
David Lopez score anytime 9/2: Leeds v Brighton nearly always has a penalty in it. Not this time. 1 0 -2
Brighton 2-0 Newport 11/2: We had to win this one in 90 minutes so even without Inigo Calderon's red card, this was always going to be money down the drain. 1 0 -3
Brighton 2-1 Derby 15/2: As Luke Skywalker once told the Emperor, overconfidence is our weakness. 1 0 -4
Bridcutt score anytime 7/1: Oscar's shoot on sight policy would have helped Bridcutt score. If he played. 1 1 -4
Birmingham 2-1 Brighton 9/1: Overconfident one week, underconfident the next. 1 0 -5
Match Drawn 23/10: Thought we'd covered our bases with a loss and draw. Thanks Andrew Crofts 1 0 -6
Brighton 2-0 Burnley 17/2: A clean sheet was always likely. Thinking we'd score twice was pure luck. 1 9.50 2.50
Ulloa score anytime 5/4: That man from Argentina scores at The Amex yet again 1 2.25 3.75
Brighton 2-1 Millwall 7/1: Thanks a lot to the referee for disallowing that goal - tosser. 1 0 2.75
Ulloa score anytime 1/1: Four goals in five games and more money to be had from Ulloa. 1 2 3.75
August 2013: Staked 11. Returned 14.75. Profit 3.75 (25.4%)
2013/14 Overall: Staked 11. Returned 14.75. Profit 3.75 (25.4%)
