Brighton and Hove Albion fans have suffered homophobic abuse from opposition fans for many years but recently it has got a lot worse and not just confined to the stadium.

The issue has become something of a national debate as a result, with BBC South East Today broadcasting a report about it on Monday 31st October 2011.
