The League Cup has never been the most joyous of competitions for Brighton & Hove Albion. In fact, we have been downright crap in it for pretty much the entire 50 years plus that it has existed.

The Albion have never progressed beyond the fifth round and they have only made that stage on once occasion. The past 20 years is a horror story of early exits, weakened lineups who could not give a toss and embarrassments at the hands of teams from lower divisions.

This week’s WAB Friday Quiz is going to test your knowledge of those exits from the competitions. It is perhaps our most straightforward set of teasers yet – simply tell us who eliminated Brighton from the League Cup in each of the past 20 seasons.
