It was that most exciting of occasions earlier in the week as Brighton revealed their brand new kits for the 2019-20 Premier League season.
The home shirt appears to be a near-carbon copy of that which was worn two seasons ago, which makes a bit of a mockery out of the £52 it costs. The away meanwhile is a thing of beauty, an all-black number with charcoal grey sleeves that looks stunning.
Style hasn’t always been Brighton’s way of course. We’ve had stripey shorts, a season with a home, away and third kit that were all blue and all manner of questionable design decisions down the years.
