The WAB Friday Quiz #164
Brighton & Loan Albion sent an army of loan players to far flung corners of Europe (and the East Midlands) in the 2021-22 campaign, many of whom a lot of Seagulls fans may have forgotten about until they all returned for the start of pre-season training this week.
This week’s WAB Friday Quiz requires you to not only remember who they are, but where they spent last season plying their trade. And we cannot work out if it is easy or not.
On the one hand, everyone must surely recall where Aaron Connolly spent the second half of the campaign. After all, he made such an impression so as to be described by some supporters of said club as their worst ever signing.
But on the other hand, you have players like Florin Andone and Teddy Jenks. Andone could almost be some mythical creature with a severe anger issue whom we were beginning to wonder if he ever existed. Jenks meanwhile went to Scotland (we will tell you that much) but who even remembers where?
