The Farke Knight: Photos from Norwich City 0-0 Brighton

Norwich City has always been one of the more fun away games in the calendar and whilst the football may not have lived up to much as Brighton drew 0-0 at Carrow Road, these photos proved that the day out certainly did.

A Canaries fan wearing a green and yellow outfit including a cape with ‘The Farke Knight’ printed on the back? Check. A Brighton scarf dangling from the window of the Holiday Inn built into the corner of Carrow Road? Check. Someone with a Hasbulla Magomedov mask? Check.

All that was missing to cap a traditionally weird and wonderful trip to Norfolk was Robert Sanchez scoring two own goals in the space of 20 minutes, ala David Stockdale back in April 2017 when the Albion blew their first of three chances to lift the Championship title.

For the second game running, Brighton drew 0-0 but unlike in the Amex rain against Arsenal this was a bit of a disappointing performance from the Albion.

They might have even lost were it not for two brilliant last-ditch tackles from Dan Burn in the second half and Josh Sargent producing one of the worst misses you will ever see just before the break.

All Sargent had to do was guide the ball into an empty net after Robert Sanchez got in a right mess when attempting to clear. His effort though had so little pace that Shane Duffy was able to make up 25 yards and hack clear.

For Brighton, Leandro Trossard saw a volley tipped onto the bar by Tim Krul and Neal Maupay side footed an easy chance over. Maupay also might have had a penalty when Krul brought him down in the box but VAR thought otherwise.

Not the most entertaining of games but hey, who cares when you earn a point on the road without playing particularly well? And you get to see the Farke Knight.
