East Arch Erection - Amex Stadium February 2010

A week after we last visited to check out the first section of the East Stand Arch being in place, we returned to the Falmer site to see the final piece up and the arch now fully erect.

It is a startling sight to see when you visit Falmer and emphasises just how big the stadium is going to be when it is finally completed.

Not only is the East Arch done and dusted, but the first pieces of the colossal West Stand are also beginning to be built.
