Albion pop up gallery and shop hosted by Dogma
It is not every day a pop up art gallery devoted solely to the Albion appears. Brighton fans are in for a treat this weekend with Communion opening at Gallery40 in the city.
Communion is being run by the guys behind Albion fanzine Dogma. As anyone who has had the good fortune (and taste) to leaf through Dogma will tell you, it has two attributes which make it stand out.
The first is the quality of writing, presenting broad opinions which reflect the makeup of the Brighton fanbase. The second is how bloody good it looks; from illustrations to pictures to the fantastic free stickers.
Every edition of Dogma is a piece of art in itself. So it makes perfect sense to give Brighton fans the chance to see this art exhibited. Not to mention the opportunity to buy framed prints and other stuff. Christmas is coming, don’t you know?
As well as the sort of quality artwork you find in the fanzine, Communion is set to to document the Albion, the city of Brighton itself and Seagulls fan culture. It promises to be quite the show with some of the best Albion content creators involved.

Amongst those are two of the most popular contributors to our WAB Fan Photo Galleries, Danny Last and Martin Denyer.
Danny is the king of European Football Weekends. Martin was responsible for the glorious picture which adorns this page from Arsenal away of Kaoru Mitoma going mad and taking every Brighton supporter with him.
Where can you find Communion we hear you cry? Gallery40 is located at 40 Gloucester Road, Brighton, BN1 4AQ, just a short hop from Brighton Station.
Opening times are 10.30am until 6pm on Friday 2nd December followed by a private invite-only viewing between 6pm and 8pm. Communion opens again on Saturday 10am until 6pm.
Dogma subscribers receive a 20 percent discount on prints, framed originals and everything else in the shop. Get along if you can and support what should be a cracking and unique event for Albion fans.
