Albion under 23 defender Ben Hall joins Notts County on loan

Brighton and Hove Albion under 23 defender Ben Hall has moved to Notts County on a season long loan.

Hall spent the second half of last season with the League Two outfit who are managed by professional twat Kevin Nolan, playing 11 times as County reached the League Two play offs.

The arrangement has now been renewed for the entire 2018-19 season, hopefully giving the 21-year-old a first whole campaign of senior football.

The Northern Irish under 21 international arrived from Scottish Pub League side Motherwell in the summer of 2016 for a fee of around £200,000. He has yet to make a single first team appearance however, not even in weakened sides in the League Cup.

Despite that, Hall is obviously highly thought of by the Albion has he signed a new contract as recently as last month.

His development then should be well served in the rough and tumble of the bottom tier of English football although hopefully he will not return having mastered the ridiculous chicken dance that Nolan used to celebrate with, as seen right in front of the North Stand when he scored the only goal of the game when West Ham United won at the Amex in October 2011.
