Some will have promise and the potential to be sold on for huge sums of money to Chelsea in the future, while others will come in and be tasked with doing a job from the moment they walk through the doors at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton will be looking to build on a rather stop-start campaign last season and potentially aim for another return to European football come the end of proceedings.

Right now, though, it’s safe to say that fans who share rants on X, play fantasy football, and indulge in Premier League betting probably won’t be placing too much faith in Brighton’s squad. A few big additions and a new manager bounce could change all of that, though.

Although Paris Saint-Germain’s Carlos Soler would be new to the Premier League, the Spaniard is a player who is more than capable of adapting to life in the biggest and best league on the planet.

Limited to a rotational role with the French giants, the former Valencia midfielder will surely be chasing more playing time, with a move to England undoubtedly piquing his interest.

Whether or not the clubs’ hierarchy thinks a deal for Soler is affordable is unknown, but Brighton and Aston Villa are linked with him.

The 27-year-old made 26 appearances this past season across all competitions and would be a big signing for the club should he arrive through the door.

Crysencio Summerville rumours are gathering momentum

Following Leeds United’s failure to get out of the Championship, it became clear that the club would be facing the prospect of losing key player Crysencio Summerville.

The much-coveted Leeds United star has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs in recent times, but it’s Brighton who appear to be closing in on his signature.

The Seagulls have reportedly upped their interest in the Dutchman and can offer him the first-team football he undoubtedly craves.

Following a season that saw Summerville register 28 goal contributions in the Championship for the Yorkshire side, the former Feyenoord player clearly has the ability to adapt to life in England’s top flight.

Hertha BSC’s Ibrahim Maza is being considered

Hertha BSC’s Ibrahim Maza isn’t an established regular at the German club, but he has the potential to be a successful professional.

As such, alongside Brighton, the likes of Leicester City and Brentford are all in the mix to snap him up. Aged just 18, Maza has impressed on occasions and made 15 appearances for Hertha.

Making the step up to Premier League football and adapting to life in England might be tough for the youngster, though, but Brighton could be the perfect home for him to develop his game further.

A tidy player who is comfortable with the ball at his feet, Konstantelias probably isn’t ready for Premier League football just yet, but he’s a bright spark Brighton could develop and potentially sell on for big money in the future.

The Englishman is a key cog in Leicester’s wheel but could depart the club given the ongoing issues surrounding the Foxes.

Brighton are reportedly ready to pounce should Dewsbury-Hall be made available for transfer, with the Seagulls apparently monitoring his progress for some time now.
