Two more Albion games with the top six moved for television
Viewers across the nation will be able to see if Brighton and Hove Albion can finally score a goal from open play against the top six with the upcoming games against Arsenal and Manchester City both set to be broadcast by Sky Sports.
The Gunners visit has been pushed back from Saturday 3rd March to Sunday 4th March and will now kick off at 1.30pm.
It will be Arsenal’s game at the Amex having tasted FA Cup fourth round victories in both 2013 and 2015, the second of which was also shown on television and featured an actual goal from Chris O’Grady.
The Albion’s first ever visit to the Etihad Stadium has also been moved to a Sunday with the game against league leaders Manchester City scheduled to now take place at 4pm on Sunday 18th March.
This also happens to be FA Cup Quarter Final weekend. While the Albion are unlikely to reach the last eight of the competition (tickets still available for Saturday at Middlesbrough by the way for all those who’ve moaned that they couldn’t get to Old Trafford or the Emirates due to the closed shop), City are chasing an historic quadruple which means that there is a strong possibility they will be in Cup action that day.
If that is the case, then the game will have to find a new midweek slot somewhere in between their Champions League commitments.
All of the Albion’s other games up until the end March remain unchanged.
