White can reach next level after Euros

No matter how much game time Ben White gets helping the England cause at Euro 2020, the Brighton star looks capable of even better things in the Premier League next season.

A first full campaign in England’s top flight earned him a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad, and now settled into the pace of the Premier League, it’s exciting to think what he might be able to achieve at the Amex Stadium next term.

White Proves Premier Class
After a season helping Leeds United win the Championship title, and a summer of fending off interest in the young prospect, Brighton fans finally got to see White shine for the Seagulls this season.

Some questioned if the Poole-born starlet would be able to take his form from the Championship into the top tier? But that’s exactly what White did, as he showed his composure, technique and pace to emerge as one of the country’s top defenders.

Looking at the Euro predictions, England were one of the favourites going into the tournament and are at odds of around 11/2 to lift the trophy.

To force his way into a squad that is expected to compete with the best nations in Europe for the title, just shows how far White has come, in seemingly such a short space of time.

Keeping hold of White this summer will be key to manager Graham Potter and his hopes of helping Brighton challenge higher up the table next season.

White Can Go up a Level
Hoping that White does continue his development with the Seagulls for the 2021-22 campaign, supporters can be excited about what the 23-year-old might be able to achieve next season.

On the back of being around the England squad over the summer, and learning from the likes of John Stones and Harry Maguire, that experience will only benefit White going into the new campaign.

The youngster’s attitude has impressed many, and his determination to work hard and improve has attracted plenty of plaudits. There is a reason why serious sums of money are being talked about when it comes to White’s potential value.

Brighton kept their noses ahead of the relegation battle last season, and never really looked like they were going to be dragged into the midst of the brawl.

The Seagulls were well above the standard of relegated sides Sheffield United, West Brom, and Fulham but now the task is to push on into the top half of the table next season.

Keeping hold of White will be essential to this process, as the academy product has already shown what he is capable of against the best teams in the country.

A summer with the Three Lions will only further aid his development, and fans will be eager to see what levels White will be able to achieve next season at the Amex.
