Win a Brighton shirt by playing WAB Sunday Night Poker
Do you fancy winning a brand new Brighton shirt? Reckon you could give Tony Bloom a run for his money on the poker table? Then welcome to WAB Sunday Night Poker Club.
Our first ever game will be taking place on Party Poker on Sunday 10th October 2021. It is a $1 buy-in and first place wins a 2021-22 season Albion home shirt plus the available pot.
Not only that, but the winner also earns a free seat in Party Poker’s $20k guaranteed Monthly Community Tournament. It does exactly what it says on the tin, offering a prize pot worth at least 20 Gary Harts. Or 0.0001 of Alireza Jahanbakhsh. Often, it is even more than $20,000.
Also up for grabs in the Monthly Community Tournament are £500 spot prizes for eliminating celebrities, ranging from John Terry to Barry from EastEnders.
Party Poker are currently offering £40 for free when you open a new account with them and deposit £10. You can sign up to Party Poker using this link to take advantage of the deposit £10, get £40 offer.
Once you have signed up for a Party Poker account (or logged in if you are already registered), go to the Tournaments section which is accessed via the menu bar.
Make sure Communities is selected and search for We Are Brighton to find our game, scheduled for 8pm CEST on Sunday 10th October (7pm for us in the UK).
The WAB Tournament will then come up. Select register, follow the relevant steps, pay your $1 and you will have a place at the table for the chance to win that replica Brighton shirt.
To enter the WAB Tournament, you will need the password which is lizard. What else could it possibly be given the identity of the man who owns the Albion?
If the WAB Sunday Night Poker Club proves popular, then we hope to run more tournaments on a regular basis. These might include a bounty for anyone who can eliminate our WAB representative at the table (which should not be hard as we are all crap at poker).
There may even be the opportunity to take on former Albion players and win money for knocking them out in future. Perhaps even The Lizard himself might be tempted to take part, although he is obviously used to playing poker for slightly better prizes than a Brighton shirt. You know, a million dollars, that sort of thing.
Failing that, Barry from EastEnders might put an appearance into the WAB Sunday Night Poker Club. You may laugh, but he could probably do a better job up front than Jurgen Locadia too, to be fair…
