The WAB Friday Quiz #115

Euro 2020 (in 2021) is here and how else could we mark the start of the tournament than by turning this week’s WAB Friday Quiz over to the tournament?

A paltry number of Brighton players have featured in European Championships past, owing to the fact that the Albion have spent most of their history mooching around the lower divisions.

The five who are on the plane this year – Ben White, Leandro Trossard, Joel Veltman, Jakub Moder and Robert Sanchez – probably sets some of sort of club record (expect a question on this in next week’s quiz once we have bothered to look it up).

That means we could not do a Euros-based quiz in the traditional sense. Instead, we have come up with one Albion-related question per country who are taking part in Euro 2020 (in 2021).

Needless to say, there is a little bit of Casper Ankergren involved for Denmark. One of his predecessors in the Brighton goal features for the Netherlands.

A perhaps forgotten Austrian is in there and as for Germany, well you are in for a treat as nothing quite says Euro 2020 is here like racking the brain to recall what you can about the German Porn Star Dirk Lehmann.
