Davy Propper was a handsome man and a technically gifted footballer. He could also be a bit of a bastard though, as one red card and that wonderful GIF of him throwing one opponent to the ground before hacking down another was testament to.

In honour of our favourite Dutchman who loved the dark arts, this week’s WAB Friday Quiz is a red card special. A recent red card special to be precise, with 20 questions about Brighton & Hove Albion’s 20 red cards since the start of the 2016-17 Championship season.

Some are unforgettable, like Anthony Knockaert losing his mind as the Albion went on their merry way towards a 5-0 home defeat against Plucky Little Bournemouth.

Or that moment of madness from Florin Andone against Southampton, who has not played a single minute of first team football for Brighton in nearly two years as a result.

Others you might be struggling to remember. Red cards for Gaetan Bong at Cardiff and Dale Stephens at Ipswich Town have long since passed from our memory banks, no doubt due to excessive beer consumption before both of those matches in that glorious promotion year.

Do not fret if you cannot recall either of those. There is still every chance you will get 20 out of 20, although sadly there is no dinner with Davy available as a prize if you do.
