Anthony Knockaert was one of the most skilful and popular players ever to play for the Albion, which is why his departure has caused such upset among Seagulls supporters.

For three-and-a-half years he was an entertaining presence at the Amex. Sure, he had his meltdowns and his tantrums and he certainly didn’t take to the Premier League as well as many of us hoped, but he will still go down as one of the best to pull on the stripes.
