There is nothing quite like the opening day of the football season, is there? That sense of optimism about what the year ahead will hold, watching new players who have brought in to fire you to glory and then and having a beer with your mates at a game for the first time in months.

Okay, 2020-21 will be slightly different with no fans allowed in grounds for the foreseeable future. But we are still bloody excited about Brighton’s opening fixture against Chelsea and what lies in store over the next nine months for the Albion.
