Photos of Brighton and Hove Albion’s FA Cup Fifth Round tie against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday February 19th 2012.
Brighton scored four times at Anfield but unfortunately, three of them were own goals as the Albion exited the FA Cup with a 6-1 hammering at the hands of Liverpool. Liam Bridcutt put through his own net twice with Lewis Dunk doing likewise and the Reds’ other goals coming from Martin Skrtel, Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.
Kazenga LuaLua got the Brighton consolation with a brilliant free kick in front of the Kop and Sexy Pete Brezovan prevented the score becoming even more embarrassing when he saved a Suarez penalty.
