Glenn Murray scored twice for Brighton as they secured their first away win in the Premier League with a 3-0 success at struggling West Ham. Jose Izquierdo was the other man on target in one of the most memorable away games for some time.

Goals from Nacho Monreal and Alex Iwobi sent the Albion to a 2-0 defeat on their first ever visit to the Emirates against an Arsenal side who never really had to get out of second gear. Brighton’s cause was not helped by playing with no recognised striker with Glenn Murray and Sam Baldock both unable to start due to injury and Tomer Hemed suspended.

Tomer Hemed scored the only goal of the game as the Albion secured their second Premier League win of the season, beating Newcastle 1-0 to gain some revenge for the Toon Army pipping Brighton to the Championship title last season.

Despite Solly March giving the Albion the lead early in the second side , Chris Highton’s men conceded two quick fire second half goals to Andrew Surman and Jermaine Defoe in a 2-1 defeat against the Cherries.

Pascal Gross scored twice as the Albion scored their first ever Premier League goals and won their first ever Premier League game 3-1 against the Baggies. Tomer Hemed was the other man on target with James Morrison netting a late consolation for Tony Pulis’ side.

The Albion dominated their opponents following Miguel Britos’ first half dismissal for a horror challenge on Anthony Knockaert but were unable to score for the third game running as they picked up their first Premier League point with a 0-0 draw

Brighton’s first ever game in the Premier Leagye was against Pep Guardiola’s title favourites. The Albion held firm for 70 minutes before Sergio Aguero and a Lewis Dunk own goal gave City a 2-0 win on a memorable day at the Amex.

The Albion pushed the Spanish giants close before eventually succumbing to a 3-2 defeat with Pascal Gross and Steve Sidwell scoring. Nicolas Gaitan, Fernando Torres and Lucas Hernandez got the goals for Atletico.
