WeAreBrighton.com - Amex Stadium
After over a decade of planning battles, the American
Express Community Stadium was finally opened in July
2011, giving Brighton and Hove Albion a permanent home
just the 14 years
after the Goldstone Ground was sold to developers by an
asset stripping owner.
The
Amex
has quickly gained a reputation as one of the best
places in the country to watch football. Here is our
guide to the stadium.

The Amex Stadium
The Amex Stadium page features reviews of each of
the four stands inside the ground, the best places
to sit and what you can expect to find on each
concourse of the stadium. It is the ultimate guide
to what goes on inside the stadium bowl. |
|
Transport
Driving straight to the stadium is a bit of a no-no
with severely limited parking in and around the
Falmer area and what there is is frankly charged at
an obscene price. We take a look at the best ways to
make your way to and from The Amex. |

Eating and Drinking
Brighton and Hove Albion seemed to have been linked
to re-signing every player who has worn the stripes
in the last 10 years this summer. So we've put
together a list of the top 20 that we feel could
make a real difference to the Albion on their
returns for 2015/16. Free of charge to you, Mr
Hughton. |

Construction
Having waited for so
long for the stadium to built, there was a keener
than usual interest taken in it's construction.
Between August 2009 and the opening in June 2011, we
paid 15 visits to the site at Falmer documenting
each stage of the building of the ground. |
