Pick your Grand National 2019 horse based on Brighton players

The Grand National is the world’s greatest race. Over four miles across the unique and daunting fences of Aintree, it is watched by millions across the world and is often the race where many once-a-year gamblers have their annual bet on the horses.

The race goes off at 5.15pm which means if you stick a few quid on it this year, then you could be in for a super Saturday with the Albion’s FA Cup Semi Final against Manchester City getting underway 15 minutes later.

The big question is, who to bet on? If you course and distance, weight and form means nothing to you, then it can be a complete minefield. That’s why we’ve turned the race card into a list of Brighton players from past and present to help you select which horse to pick.

Did you love Gordon Greer as Albion captain? Then you’ll want to back Captain RedGreered. Want a horse that has plenty of heart? Then have a couple of quid on UltraGoldson. If an older horse with experience is your thing then Beasant Company might be the answer of if you want one in smoking form then how about Rock the Casper?

Any money you win as a result of our foolproof system can be shared with us for all our hard work. Just drop us an email to wearebrighton@hotmail.co.uk and we’ll be only too happy to let you know how to pay.

Good luck and please remember to bet responsibly.
