Once a Seagull, always a Seagull. So said Bruno as he bade farewell to the Brighton faithful after his final appearance in the stripes against Manchester United at the end of the 2018-19 season.

El Capitan will rightly go down as one of the greatest players ever to play for the Albion. He was one of the most skilful, a born leader who is only the second man ever to captain the club to promotion to the top flight and he was a bloody good bloke to boot.

That’s why the Albion have decided to have a Bruno tribute match when his former club Valencia (answer one there for you) visit the Amex for the final friendly ahead of the new Premier League season.
