Brighton and Hove Albion added another five points to their Premier League total thanks to a victory at home to Watford and draws against Burnley and Newcastle United although with only two goals being scored throughout December, it is a defence heavy shortlist for our final WeAreBrighton.com Player of the Month of 2017

It’s the most convincing WeAreBrighton.com Player of the Month victory so far this season as Maty Ryan secures just shy of 70% of the vote to land his first award ahead of shock runner up Gaetan Bong and Shane Duffy who showed no hangover after Ireland’s failure to qualify for the World Cup

Five points out of 12 were secured by Brighton and Hove Albion in November with an excellent win away at Swansea City and battling draws with Stoke City and Crystal Palace that were largely built on solid performances from the defence, leaving the four nominated candidates from the back five in a strong position for our fourth WeAreBrighton.com Player of the Month award of the season

There was just 1% in it as Lewis Dunk held off the challenge of Pascal Gross to be named our WeAreBrighton.com Player of the Month for October 2018 with the in form Glenn Murray back in third.

Five points from a possible twelve was a good return in October for Brighton and Hove Albion, who finally got their first Premier League away win on the board with that stunning 3-0 victory at West Ham United providing the main case for most of our candidates for the latest WeAreBrighton.com Player of the Month making the shortlist
