Matt Targett’s last minute goal gave Aston Villa all three points as the hosts stole a 2-1 victory over Brighton at Villa Park.

Brighton have been in complete control in the opening half hour, going 1-0 ahead through Adam Webster’s first goal for the club.

A 34th minute red card for Aaron Mooy changed the complexion of the game however and Jack Grealish equalised for Villa in first half stoppage time before Targett’s late winner in the final seconds of an entertaining end-to-end clash decided it in favour of Villa.
