The 142nd meeting between these two rivals really should have gone the way of the Albion as they dominated the first 70 minutes under the Selhurst Park lights.

They had more possession, more shots, more shots on target and more corners than Palace yet only had Neal Maupay’s goal 10 minutes into the second half to show for their efforts.

That proved costly as Palace belatedly sparked into life for the final 22 minutes, managing 11 shots in that time and equalising through a world class goal from the annoyingly good Wilfried Zaha which ensured the game finished 1-1.
